SMS Chat allows you to text back and forth with other FlirtXchange members without revealing your mobile number. You can text via your mobile or via the 'Send SMS' message pane located on each member's profile.
There are two ways you can initiate a SMS Chat.
1. Go to the flirtXchange profile of the member you would like to SMS Chat with and send a message via the 'Send SMS' message pane.
2. Text HI followed by their profile name followed by your message to 81148.
The recipient of your message receives a notification on their mobile giving them the option of accepting and replying to your request. If they accept, you will receive a message from them, your message is delivered and you can begin texting back and forth.

Yes. Non members can initiate an SMS Chat with FlirtXchange members in either of the two following ways.

An Initial message sent via the 'Send SMS' message pane costs 50 Wallet points. Each text thereafter costs 50 Wallet Points plus a regular SMS charge (we recommend checking with your provider the charge for texting via our 447797 text code - it may even be free if you have inclusive texts in your price plan). Alternatively, you can continue to text online via the 'Send SMS' message pane at a total cost of 50 Wallet Points per message.
Non members
Upon initiating an SMS chat non members receive 2 X ?£1.50 mobile billing messages and an account top up of 300 Wallet Points. Each text thereafter costs 50 Wallet Points plus a regular SMS charge (we recommend checking with your provider the charge for texting via our 447797 text code - it may be free if you have inclusive texts in your price plan!). You can continue to text online via the 'Send SMS' message pane at a total cost of 50 Wallet Points per message.
Messages are free to receive. Unused Wallet Points can be traded for any FlirtXchange points related products/services.

Senders are automatically topped up with 300 Wallet Points (2 X £1.50 billing messages) at the point of text reply when Wallet Points balance is zero.
A maximum of six SMS Chats can be conducted at any one time.
You can redeem Wallet Points on any site related product/service including connection to the Live chat service. For more information please see 'Wallet' FAQs
This may be because your phone isn't receiving SMS messages (in which case we recommend contacting your network provider). Please note that recipients of SMS Chat requests may decline in which case you will not receive a reply.
To stop a SMS Chat simply reply 'STOPCHAT' to any message you have received, both parties will receive a free text notification confirming that the SMS Chat has ended.
To stop receiving both texts and SMS Chat requests text SMSOFF to 81148. To start receiving SMS Chat requests again text SMSON to 81148.
